They offered me the job at the interview, and I've already worked my first day. Yay! So, what does that mean for my various websites? I don't know yet. I still want to merge them all, but I might wait to pay for a decent host and register a domain name. If I can afford to do that, then the merge is definitely going to happen. What I will then do is leave a note on each of the sites directing them there (I don't like auto-forwarding).
There is another thing this is all dependant on. Sometime in the next few months I'll be moving out into my own place again. I don't have a computer of my own, unless you count my old Atari. If I'm not able to get one in time, I'm not going to spend the money and waste the time it would take to make the new site.
Ah well. Let's just see what happens.

Okay, it's 5am and I have a job interview at 1:30pm. Do you think maybe I should be getting to bed right now? I think so too.

I know I haven't been writing, but I have a good excuse. I've had nothing to say. The past few days online have mostly been eaten up by WWDN where I've gotten into many an argument in the Soapbox. And that's been it. So how have you been?

Hey, guess what! I'm actually starting to feel better! But I'm not going to take that to mean anything, because everytime I seem to start getting healthy again, it's grabbed away from me.
I went in about a job yesterday. The money would be great, but I'm not sure about selling insurance. I'll keep my mind open though, because you never know. Maybe I'll get the opportunity, enjoy it, and do really well. Until then I'll just keep looking.

I'm not going to bore or horrify with the details of my last several days of illness except with this bit of advice, when you're sick, make sure you get LOTS of fluids. I can't express how bad my dehydration got, the toll it took on my face. Thanks to drinking lots of liquids today, I'm almost back to normal, but another day of this may have ended with me going to get medical help to rehydrate.
So there you go. Heed my warning, because this hasn't been pleasant.

Still not feeling well. Slowly getting better. Too slowly. I have a job interview on Tuesday, and at this rate I hope I'm fine for it.

I'm so very, very sick right now. I spent most of the past couple of days sleeping. Fun.

This is like the Jungle death watch here. Each day I'm happy to be alive, but I still know the inevitable is coming. However, there is a bright spot, thanks to this extra time I've had! There may be a possibility that I can exchange some graphics design work for a few months of paid Internet access! I know professional graphics designers get paid a lot more than that, but I'm no professional. This is a hobby for me, and if that hobby can help keep me online, well heck, I'm going to go for it.
In other news, it snowed today. A lot. I'm no weather bunny, so that's it for that report.

Ha! Bet you thought I was gone! I should be by now, but I'm grateful for every extra day I've had. It's letting me get some stuff finished off before I do go, like my resume site because quite frankly, it's time to settle down with a really good job that I can plan to spend the next several years with. Not only that, if I was disconnected right now I wouldn't know about the problems Bravenet is having. This is one of the few sites I have that doesn't use Bravenet counters, or like a couple of my sites, their guest books or message boards. Heck, a site I've been working on for a friend relies heavily on their services, and that's really not good. It looks like I may have to plan on using other resources for that one.
Guess what I did today? I went to the circus. I haven't been to the circus since I was a really young girl, so it was as much a treat for me as it was for the girl I took. They come through town every year, so I'm thinking I'll probably go again next year. Unless I'm working that weekend...

I don't know what's happening. We really were supposed to be disconnected on the 6th, but here I am, a couple of days later and still online. I'm a little cautious about getting into updates right now because I will be going offline soon and I'm worried about not leaving a notice behind. Maybe I'll keep writing, and each day just mention that it can happen at any time. Yeah, that sounds like a plan...

Well, this is it. My last post until I don't know when. Starting tomorrow we're going to get disconnected from the Net for cost cutting reasons, and that'll be so for a couple of months. I hope. You never know, it may be longer. Heck, if I'm really lucky it'll be earlier, but I'm not going to hold my breath. See where it says E-mail Me in the menu? If you want to be notified when I'm back, just click there, send me a message, and I'll reply as soon as I'm back.
Sooooooo... See you later?

I did it! I got some real, actual, honest-to-goodness sleep! But for some strange reason I'm still tired. Go figure.
So I've finished the site I was talking about. It's for a friend and I have to say I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Click here to take a look at it, but a warning - She does adult chats for a living, so if you click on the banner there, be prepared.

I'm thinking I really should try to get to bed a lot earlier tonight. I didn't wake up until some time this afternoon, and even then it wasn't enough sleep. When I start drifting off in front of the television, I'm definitely exhausted. Even right now it's a struggle to keep my eyes open, but I have some work on that new site I want to take care of before calling it a night. Who knows, maybe I'll even get it finished.

Well, I went for a walk with the dog this evening and saw a gorgeous sunset. There are times I think I should carry a camera around with me at all times so I can capture scenes like that and share them. I got to see it from this great spot that gives me a view of the river valley and the downtown skyline with the setting sun in the background... It's just beautiful there at times.
I've also started work on a new site tonight, but don't worry, it's not one for me. I'm making it for a friend and make it so that if she wants to update it, I'll like it to Blogger for her. Except for new pictures. That I'll take care of if it's needed.

I found a cool program that changes words into Egyptian hieroglyphics, so after downloading it, using it, then running the results through ImageReady, the little bar at the bottom of this page says "Tabby Jungle".

Okay, so I signed up with EarthCam today, and let me tell you, people out there sure are demanding. You see, I don't plan to be on camera. I'll use it to show the street outside, a fiber optic lamp I have, maybe the fireplace if it's going or the television. Why not me? Despite having two diary sites and a gallery one with artsy self-portraits, I'm fiercely protective of my privacy online and don't like to give out any personal information (it took me several months to even let people know what province I'm in), so that of course includes clear pictures of myself. Not just that, but I really am rather ugly. The pictures I use are all after a LOT of planning with the camera to get the best possible angles with the most flattering lighting. To put myself on a webcam would be pointless because I'd find one half-decent shot and then hold that pose for as long as I could. I might as well just put one good picture up.
So, all that being said, I felt like setting up the camera. Why not. Except that it didn't take long for people to start insisting on me turning it around and showing myself, some of them quite rudely.
Anything I do online, I do because I have fun with it. As soon as I stop having fun with anything, that's it, I leave it alone. That's why Tabby Radio lasted all of... I think I did two or three shows. If this keeps up with the webcam, I'll stop having fun with that and so it will be no more.
If you've read my diaries for any length of time, you'll see that I get tired of them, but I still enjoy having them there for me, so that's why they're still around. Heck, that's why I now have this site along with the Tabby Diaries. I like having them so much that one journal just wasn't enough.
Oh well, I'll keep the camera up for now, but take my word for it, as soon as I get too annoyed, it's gone.
