I've had "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles stuck in my head the past few days, and I have to say I really love the line, "Say my name, sun shines through the rain..." It may not be a great line, and I know part of it is the way it's sung is fantastic, but I really do like that line.
I have to get to bed now, having worked all night, but let me leave you with this entreaty... Please remember to spay and neuter your elected representatives. Thank you.

There's been something new online I've been trying this month. Stripcreator. Basically it's like putting together other people's artwork and just slapping your own words in.
It's a little better than that, but not by much.
Oh! Oh! Oh! I can't tell you how excited I am! Pirates of the Caribbean! Johnny Depp and movie pirates? Oh hell yeah, I'm there! I, um, kinda have a thing for Johnny, and, er, um... pirates too. But not the real thing. They were scurvy knaves. No, the romanticised Hollywood kind. The swashbuckling rogues with a twinkle in their eye. Arrrr! Shiver me timbers, those were some sexy buccaneers...

Whoo hoo! Okay, I should be in bed right now after working all night, but I don't care. I had a vision and I've managed to get pretty darned close to it! To say I'm happy with this page now would be an understatement. Visually I think it stands out from most of the blogs out there, even if it may not be as polished as some of them.
So I'm pleased. Now I really need to get to bed. After I'm nice and rested, maybe I'll be able to think of something interesting or pithy to say.

It occurred to me today looking at the people sitting on the train that touques, or woolen winter hats to you non-Canadians, are the one item of clothing that men can wear that bear pom-poms and not be laughed at or brutally teased. Not that I want to see a new trend of men wearing pom-poms. It's just something I found interesting.

Ask me what's good! Go on, ask me! Ah, I'll just tell you anyway. I've just given this page a new title and a whole new look!
I'm not quite competely happy with it yet, but this'll do for now until I can really give it that feeling of a classic Fifties B-movie. The only problem is after putting this work into it, I now I have to sit down and write. Sorry.

So here's the thing... I used to write all the time. In the old Tabby Diaries, where I did it all right in the HTML, I was able to post most days out of the month. Then I moved to Blogger, where it was a lot less work, and the writing dried up. Why? I don't know.
Part of the problem was that Blogger often wouldn't work. I'd be unable to post for days at a time, and then it went and completely lost my template. Great. But I think I lost interest too. That needs to change. I need to get around to getting started again. We'll see.
